Date of birth: 22 July 1986Ganley led a campaign in Ireland opposing the Lisbon Treaty. Ireland initially rejected the treaty in a 2008 referendum, but voted for it in 2009. Ganley first established a think tank, the Libertas Institute, and then a pan-European political party, Libertas, to advocate more democracy in EU institutions. However, his own campaign for the European Parliament failed.
He is the chairman and CEO of Rivada, a public safety communications company for government customers.
